The South-West of Africa is the oldest and often said to be the strangest corner of the continent.
Here, the thirsty land is covered with thousands upon thousands of circles. We still don't know their origins: poisonous plants, foraging insects, magnetism and even extra-terrestrials have all been suggested. But each has been ruled out.
The circles don't move and their shape never varies. They are unchanging, much like this part of the African wild itself.
